IIMHN Announces Conference details for 2019 – Call for Abstracts

The Irish Institute of Mental Health Nursing is pleased to invite abstracts for its 2019 conference.

The theme of the conference is:

‘Mental Health Nursing and Peer Support Working: Challenges and Opportunities’

The 2019 symposium will focus on the diverse approaches to and models of working with peer support workers.  In this way the symposium is hoping to highlight the varied  approaches  to and stages of development of mental health nurses and peer support workers collaborating across mental health services nationally. The symposium aims to showcase the challenges and opportunities of co-working and how these have impacted on the development of productive working relationships and achieving outcomes. 

Attendance at the conference is free.

Abstracts are invited from all groups on areas related to the conference theme.  The closing date for abstract submission is 23rd April 2019.  You can download the abstract submission form here: IIMHN-Conference-2019-Abstract.
